CHOCOLATE GLAZED BAKED DONUTS


Ingredients: For Baked Donuts 2 cups All Purpose Flour

1 Cup Sugar

2 Eggs

2 teaspoons Baking Powder

1/2 teaspoon Salt

4 Tablespoons Butter, melted

1 cup Heavy Cream (you may use half and half)

2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract For Chocolate Glaze 4 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate

2 Tablespoons Light Corn Syrup

2 Tablespoons Milk2

Tablespoons Butter, melted

Pinch of salt

1 teaspoon Vanilla Garnish 1 cup Sprinkles

Instructions: For Donuts

Grease 2 Donut Pans with Nonstick SprayPreheat oven to 350 degrees FahrenheitIn a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and baking powder togetherIn another bowl mix the eggs, and cream until combinedPour the egg mixture on top of the flour mixtureMix with a wooden spoon until combined. You will get a stiff batterPlace the batter in a zip top bag and snip a hole on corner"Pipe" batter in the donut pan making sure the dough is distributed evenly onto each creviceBake for 15 - 18 minutes or until the donuts spring back to the touch when you press on the surfaceRemove from oven and let them cool for 1-2 minutesInvert onto a plate or pan and cool while making the glaze

For Glaze Break the chocolate into piecesPlace all the glaze ingredients in a small saucepanHeat the saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly until chocolate meltsRemove from Heat

Assembly

Dip warm donuts into glazeAdd some sprinkles on topLet them cool and setEnjoy!
